Could you design a poster that the Parish Council could use around the village to remind irresponsible dog owners to pick up their dog’s poo and bin it, and to also keep their dogs on a lead in the village?
There will be prizes for the designs the Parish Council think would work well and be effective; plus the satisfaction that you are doing something to help your community. The winning entries will be printed and used around the Parish and on the website.
- entries should be on A4 paper
- make them bright, colourful and eye-catching
- make sure the message is clear – can you think of a catchy slogan?
- put your name on the back with contact details for you and your parent/guardian
- please put in an envelope clearly marked – “Poo Poster Competition”
- examples of posters are available on the village website
- entries should reach the parish office by Friday 30th August – there is a post-box
