The A423 will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm next week from the 4th – 8th March (5 days) in order to make the zebra crossing into a puffin crossing.

It has been pointed out to Warwickshire County Council that this will be inconvenient for parents driving to pick children up from the primary school at the end of the day, and
the contractor has been asked to re-open the road at 3.00pm rather than 3.30pm, to allow parents to reach the school more easily.

Please be aware of this.

Disruption to bus service:

Bus route 664 will be diverted while this work is being carried out. If you wish to travel beyond Long Itchington to Southam, Shepherds Hill or Napton (or vice versa) between the dates and times above, you will need to change at Long Itchington Green onto a FREE shuttle bus operated by Catterall’s Coaches.

See the shuttle bus timetable.
