It’s hard, but Long Itchington has risen to the challenge finding ways of making life bearable, different and in some cases more interesting.  The single most important action we can all take, in fighting coronavirus, is to stay at home in order to protect the NHS and save lives. When we reduce our day-to-day contact with other people, we will reduce the spread of the infection. Every person in the UK must comply with these new measures, which came into effect on Monday 23 March.

The vast majority are acting within these new rules, but we do need to remind some people that playgrounds, sports courts and any outdoor equipment, such as the skate ramp, are closed to the public,   young and old.

These are not Parish Council rules but are Government measures. Please remind your older children that removing tape from the play areas and using the equipment is not permitted. The coronavirus can remain on hard surfaces so by using public play equipment you are putting others and yourselves at risk.  So PLEASE DON’T
